Thank you so much Shreya. It's really nice of you to read this and understand the depth of this. Stress is killing us but we wait for something to go terribly wrong before we do anything. and it is getting really difficult to say no and take a pause. And that's something that makes you realize "Oh wait, I've been moving too fast." This is going to be one journey I tell you hahaha
This piece resonates deeply with me. I love how effortlessly yet beautifully it captures such an important truth. I have always been someone who takes a strategic step back, recognizing the signs before burnout completely takes over, and it is anything but glamorous. We have glorified productivity to the point where we are constantly racing and pushing ourselves beyond reason.
This piece does a brilliant job of laying it all out, making it easier to understand and reflect on. Sending you love and strength✨
Thank you so much for the support and encouragement Tara! Really appreciate it. And I hope the world learns to be slow, soft and gentle soon. If not for us, at least for the future generations.
This is the ultimate truth of burnout and you have captured it so well Protima, you are not alone in this! I have been through multiple burnouts trying to juggle many things especially because I am so passionate about what I do (I am a Pilates instructor) and like you said, there will always be times to say yes to but where are we going to draw boundaries then? What has helped me shift perspective is to lean more into nervous system regulation work because I feel like that is the ultimate healing process where you eventually lean into slowing down without having to go through such bouts of burnout! But to each her own, I hope you find enough resources to help you slow down during this time and to emerge a little more rested <3
Thank you so much! Thank you for reading this and taking out the time to share everything that you just did. It's really nice to see that there are others who have decided to take it slow and life does reward them. The meaning of abundance changes and thank you for reassuring me with this comment. All the best to us 🩷

I know. Making countercultural choices in this crazy age is quite the radical idea.

Just absolutely love this Protima. Every word is so damn true. What an insightful and well-written piece. Excellent food for thought.
If only I could put into words how tired I am!
